Hi, I’m McKenzie!

I’m a versatile wordsmith who enjoys wearing many hats— whether it’s writing, editing, or diving into the depths of marketing strategies. With a keen ability to foster connections and adeptly navigate the digital landscape, I'm always on the lookout for opportunities to expand my expertise. Think of me as your go-to maestro of organized chaos!

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a devoted mom of two wild-hearted toddler boys and one extraordinary little girl, balancing the beautiful chaos of motherhood with a career in advancement operations. I find my true joy in storytelling, digital marketing, and building meaningful, authentic connections.

At 24, I took a leap of faith and co-founded a business; an experience that transformed me. I dove headfirst into writing, editing, graphic design, and everything in between. Though I eventually sold my share, that chapter taught me more than I ever expected: how to embrace discomfort, learn quickly, and lead with courage.

More recently, I earned my master’s degree from the University of Georgia, where I spent two years refining my skills in operations and technology. I believe in being well-rounded— I am just as comfortable drafting a compelling narrative as I am troubleshooting backend systems or driving strategic initiatives to boost brand engagement and philanthropy.

One of the most profound parts of my journey has been becoming an advocate, both personally and professionally. My daughter, who has Down syndrome, has taught me more about strength, joy, and the beauty of difference than I ever could have imagined. Through her, I’ve developed a deep passion for advocacy and inclusion, and I’m committed to amplifying the voices of those who often go unheard.

Two other passions continue to guide and inspire me. One is storytelling, through feature writing and (hopefully soon) a novel of my own. The other is our family’s new farm, which has become a haven of creativity and potential. I dream of building an orchard, tending to bees, raising chickens, and creating a vibrant space that brings people together.

Above all, I believe obstacles are not roadblocks, but stepping stones. I’m a lifelong learner, always seeking the next challenge, the next story, the next spark of inspiration.

If you share similar passions or just want to connect, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s build something meaningful together.

Thanks again for stopping by!
